Worth Having is a series of digital images montages that bring together objects selected from the artist's collections. The work is aimed at finding purpose and new meaning in quirky objects that have been singled out as worth having and saving. Separated now from their status as collections, and organized in circular compositions, these things resonate in concentric sets of reference. Human control of nature is a unifying theme repeated throughout the series. Worth Having was exhibited in "new" Niagara Biennial in 2008 at Rodman Hall Art Centre in St. Catharines. In 2009, Worth Having was expanded into an installation work that aggregated the images and things they represent. This work was exhibited at Red Head Gallery in Toronto.
